The Milk Sea is located off the coast of Yilan. The journey from Wushi Harbor takes about 50 minutes. On the way, you can fully enjoy your time on the water by sipping champagne and feeling the sea breeze. You can either drive yourself or take public transportation to Wushi Harbor.
If you're driving, the meeting point is the "Yilan Wushi Harbor Yacht Marina" (click here for Google Maps).
If you take the train, get off at Toucheng Station and take a taxi. The ride to the meeting point is approximately 10 minutes.

The best time to visit the Milk Sea is from April to October. During this period, the weather is stable, the temperature is pleasant, and the sea takes on its dreamy blue-and-white color, making it the perfect time to book a chartered boat tour. The peak season is in the summer, from May to September, when the water temperature is ideal for SUP, floating, and other water activities. There are three time slots available each day, and each offers a unique atmosphere. You can choose a time based on the kind of photos you want, your preferred experience, or if you want to catch the sunrise.
Sunrise Slot (04:30 - 08:30): This slot is for travelers who want to witness the sunrise on the water. The soft morning light is perfect for taking beautiful, low-saturation photos and avoiding the midday heat.
Morning Slot (08:00 - 12:00): This is the most popular time! With abundant sunlight and great lighting, it's the top choice for both water activities and photography.

(1) What if the weather is bad? Can I get a refund?
If a typhoon warning is issued based on the Central Weather Bureau's forecast, Orange Cat has the right to cancel the tour and issue a full refund.
If the sea conditions are unfavorable on the day of departure, the boat will sail within the harbor, and you will be able to reschedule your trip for a later date within one year.
(2) What if I need to cancel after booking?
41+ days before departure: 5% cancellation fee
31–40 days before departure: 10% cancellation fee
21–30 days before departure: 20% cancellation fee
2–20 days before departure: 30% cancellation fee
1 day before departure: 50% cancellation fee
On the day of departure: No refund will be issued.
(3) Can I do SUP or swim at the Milk Sea? According to local regulations, operators are not permitted to let guests swim directly at the underwater hot spring eruption site (the main Milk Sea area). The captain will assess the day's wind and wave conditions to determine if it is safe to enter the water. If it is safe, the boat will anchor at other spots like Glasses Cave or near the Turtle Island "claw." If you wish to paddle on a SUP to the Milk Sea, a professional SUP coach and the captain will evaluate the feasibility and take groups there in batches for the experience.
(4) What should I bring? Please bring a form of ID in case of a Coast Guard inspection. We also recommend ocean-friendly sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. If you get seasick, please take motion sickness medication half an hour before departure.
(5) Can I bring my pet? Yes, of course! Pets are charged a fee of NT$500, and we welcome them to join in on the fun. Please remember to bring a life jacket for your pet.
(6) Is there one SUP board for each person? No. The number of SUP boards provided depends on the type of boat you choose. If you're a big fan of SUP, you can add extra boards to your booking.
(7) Is there an age limit, and is the price the same for children? There is no age limit; the tour is friendly for all ages. The price is calculated per person, regardless of age.
(8) Do I have to pay in full, or can I pay a deposit? Full payment is required to reserve the boat. Your booking will be confirmed immediately after payment is received.
